Slow cooking.

Monday is a good slow cooker day. It is nice to come home to an almost-cooked dinner and a house that smells good. We tried a slow cooker classic today: Beef Stroganoff. Mine didn’t turn out nearly as pretty as the picture online, but it tasted good. We tried whole wheat noodles for the first time. They were pretty good, and by the time you throw on the creamy sauce, the noodles don’t taste any different.

We also had brussel sprouts, courtesy of Kyra. She went to the store with me this weekend. She took one look at the sprouts on the stalk, and asked for them. I hadn’t planned on buying brussel sprouts, but how do you turn down a request like that?
